I finally sat down and beat Titanfall 2’s campaign mode over the last few days. What a fun gameplay experience. Shades of Turok, Bioshock Infinite and time travel! Just a super short and super fun game. In this season of life, short bursts of games are about all I can afford. Check it out sometime!

So what about the game itself? Well, the fact is that the videotape sequences shown at Shoshinkai bear very little resemblance to what the final product will actually look like. Spectacular scenes of a surprisingly large Link clad in polished armor are most likely to end up in cut-scenes rather than representing the actual play. Mr. Miyamoto has stated several times in the past that initial design of a Zelda title has always been more time-consuming than the Mario titles, since players are not as restricted in their exploration of the game world. The immense size of this latest title in the series, along with the fact that players are likely to be able to use the storage capacity of the bulky drive to personal their play in ways that cartridge gamer can only dream of, ensure that this game will be no exception. It’s #RandomGameSaturday! Today I am playing one of my favorite modern hack n slashes, Dust: An Elysian Tail. Truly beautiful game with an awesome soundtrack and fluid and smooth controls. Reminds me a lot of Dragons Crown or some of the other 2010s Vanillaware games like Odin Sphere. Check it out!

A side table of poplar and pine. The tabletop is pine and the apron and legs are made of poplar wood. All of it is stained evenly with Minwax Golden Oak. The finish is spray lacquer. Nice and smooth! A side table drying outdoors and being clamped with F style clamps to hold the apron sides in place while the glue dries.

I’m really enjoying the Shantae Advance game! Excellent job WayForward. LRG may have fumbled the bag when it comes to the whole recycled chip controversy for this game(the purple cart I have is really cool), but the game itself is really good. I’m playing it (the ROM) on my Anbernic GBA clone.

The amount of time I spent playing this game is lost to yesteryear. So many good memories of couch co-op with siblings, neighbors and family. Without TMNT 2/The Arcade Game, I don’t think I’d have ever really enjoyed beat em ups. I still play it a few times a year. Cowabunga!

I voted this morning in an at-large city council election in my town. Never ever take for granted to right to vote in all elections, because democracy is driven by participation. She must win. Especially considering the other guy’s badge of honor is interning for Lindsey fucking Graham. Hell no.
