Your description of the 'golden hour' reminds me of my husband's diagnosis - he felt totally fine when his melanoma was discovered after a routine removal of a bump on his back (not even the doc who removed said bump expected cancer, nevermind stage 3).

Asked my doctor a couple weeks ago about measles & she reminded me I had a booster back in 2013 (she did her whole practice). I'm pretty happy with her overall (tho I do wish she didn't stop masking in the last year)

I really shouldn't be shocked by anything he says/does anymore, but it's just so far out there, that I assumed it was fake the first time I read it. Sigh

Our 16 y/o occasionally goes sockless in their winter boots but I'm pretty sure it's entirely due to laziness (not willing to run back upstairs to grab a pair of socks before going out).

Hmmm, I wonder if second hand smoke can have a similar effect? I am a Gen Xer who greyed early & never smoked, tho a big factor for me personally is that greying early runs on my dad's side - his mother (also a non-smoker) was completely white haired by the time she was 20.
