Educate yourself. There was a bipartisan deal, Trump and Musk killed it to increase the dept limit so Trump can pass more tax cuts for the ultra wealthy, and no, Service Members do NOT get their bi-monthly pay during a shut down.

You clearly have no idea how many services are contracted on a base either, all those services will stop after midnight tonight as well.

I work with the U.S. military and my son is an active member. They didn’t get their regular pay checks during the last Trump shut down. Again, you don’t know what you are talking about.

It’s a huge pain to apply for loans from military relief funds, especially at a time when most have to take out loans at the same time. It’s not a smooth and quick process.

Educate yourself. They will not receive their paycheck at the end of the month if the government is shut down. It’s happened before, they only received back pay after the shut down ended.
