Origins Unknown. What was a cute plaque from childhood, became known as ‘time out’ for being a ‘bad girl’, disobedient and unruly, from those who were also byproducts of a shame ridden society. Systemic shame is everywhere and I’m just now realizing how deep it goes. Thanks Devon Price Ph.D.
