Three hasn't been a fair democratic primary since 2008? Why because in 2016 and 2020, your choice lost? That's ridiculous. 2024 was the problematic one. But that's the problem with Bernie bros. They're actions are the quintessential embodiment of the phrase cutting of your nose to spite your face.

Love ya Pete, but that's m my frustration with leaders on the left... you never thought this could happen. It's going to get worse. Let's say it again. It's going to get worse. One more time. It's going to get worse. I've been telling the party leaders since '21 they need to be braver... 🤷‍♂️ FAFO.

Yeah, I agree. The forest is still burning, and lots are still in danger, but we're just expressing some relief at some momentum in this one instance. But you're right, Trump and his lackeys are still petulant children, and we can't stop demanding more while the forest is still burning.

If he had to run through a burning forest by escaping a burning house, so be it. He's one step closer to escape. I don't understand your outrage with that statement. Sure, the forest shouldn't be on fire, but that's the situation. At least he's out the burning house & one step closer to being saved.

He's referring to the UCLORED sign in the image in the original post for the thread.

For those who aren't reading the article: 2021 to 2023, they found that 95% of pharmacies sold stolen meds. 45% sold stolen meds from the U.S. April '24, they met with senior leaders in Zambia to try to address. Little to no action followed. 50M of 600M aid has been cut as a result.

That's a bullshit lie you've created for yourself and decided to believe and preach.
May 7, 2025 at 9:54 PM
True, and I'm trying not to be rude or emotional in this engagement, just responsive. But honestly, your statement does apply to you as well.
May 5, 2025 at 4:36 PM
???. I don't need to listen to someone else tell me how to vote. If Hillary didn't win the primary and Bernie would have won I would have voted for Bernie. If you would rather Trump win instead of Hillary because Bernie didn't get the nom, then you got what you wanted.
May 5, 2025 at 4:06 PM
Point of fact: I'm neither a "it's her time" lib or anti Bernie. I voted based on qualifications and platform.

Bernie*
May 5, 2025 at 3:51 PM
I guess I am missing your point. I thought you were saying Berni would have beat Trump because of his momentum, but because we chose somebody that didn't have the support that Berni had we lost. So was just pointing to the data on that didn't support that.
May 5, 2025 at 3:50 PM
Calling Clinton a corpo lib simplifies a lot. She ran on the party’s most progressive platform. In part due to Sanders, but w/ momentum of her own. Most hated is more heat than light. She won more pledged delegates, built a broader coalition (esp. Black voters), and still earned nearly 66M votes.

Why do some people think women as contenders for presidency are the problem? UK, Germany, Mexico, India, Finland, New Zealand, Argentina, Chile, and many other countries have all had women as the heads of their state. I'll continue to vote for a women candidate if they continue to be qualified.
May 4, 2025 at 8:38 AM
The primaries played out. She won. Sure, there were voices telling Bernie she won already and he should drop, but he ran til like 2 days before the primaries, because he didn't have the votes. And "liberals are as much to blame as maga" is an emotional hyperbole.

Idc, because even if it's true (and i don't believe it - i thought he was going to win because I'm not living in a bubble of my own making), it should have never been that close. You can't heal if you won't even accept the reality of the injury.

I don't think it's an easy call. I guess if I'm the ump, I'd use his reaction as eveidence that it his hand, see the direction the bat went which may have been cause he lost control from hitting his hand, but all I got, and I'd have to call it a strike. But I get why it's a tough call.
