It's complete cover, intentionally done... For eternity now, they can feely repeat things like "according to reports, there were trans markings..." Or "the shooter reportedly left trans messages...", without any legal repercussions.

Rightwing media has had this complex for years, and have learned when the dog actually catches the car, their ratings drop, etc.
I have a theory that is why there has been such a push to the far right. They have to keep sowing grievance even when in power.

Somewhere there is a 24 year old AHL defenseman who has worked his bag off to improve his game every step of the way, that is going to get buried in the AHL because of a deal like this.

Reminds me of the mid-90's "second tier" great players like Yzerman, Sakic, LaFontaine, etc... Amazing HOF centers who unfortunately for them had to play in the same era as 99 & 66.

I think so too, especially as a complete player. But outside of Ovechkin and Crosby, Stamkos is the 3rd "best" goal scorer of that generation of players that came into the league mid/late 2000's.
I'd put Kane in the group as well.

I always thought that Malkin/Stamkos was a good comparison.
Malkin edges him in points/awards, but Stamkos has more goals.
Both had small windows where they were top tier players, but have also compiled good stats over a long time.
