If you liked Forever War I do strongly recommend The Long Way to a Small and Angry Planet and its sequels. I'd also toss in the Zones of Thought series with the warning that it gets pretty dark.

Foundation is a great series. I'm fond of Old Man's War, and Forever War. A few others I've loved: The Long Way to a Small Angry Planet, The Collapsing Empire, Gideon the Ninth (sci-fi fantasy), and Red Mars

You're right! A lot of clothing now is created more like open ended sacks with no tailoring to give them shape when worn. You can see on a lot of everyday clothing is that they're either tight fighting or elastic in "one size fits all" style clothing.
