ALBUM REVIEW: The Marias - "Submarine" (2024) There's a lot of beautiful, interesting musical things going on here, and "Sienna" is a lyrical and musical delight, but it felt kind of samey. Deserves a second listen though **3/5 stars**

“Man I Need” by Olivia Dean sounds like the Oliver & Company soundtrack and I mean that as a very sincere compliment, though i’m not sure it makes sense

OK, I finally listened to all of "Mystical Magical" top to bottom on purpose, and the first verse made me think maybe I hate this song unfairly..... then the chorus hits and god I hate it so much

ALBUM REVIEW: Seven Lions - "The Throes of Winter (Remixes)" (2015); This was good music to work to, but it is 3 version of one song, 2 versions of another, and then two more songs... so not a great album listen. **1.5/5 stars**

EP REVIEW: SAYGRACE - "Memo" (2015) was a fun listen but there's something hollow in it that makes me feel distanced from it. "You Don't Own Me" is G-Eazy's best song though **2/5 stars**
