Ofc that is not to discount or excuse the genuine arses that exist. But this had been mine and a lot of others experiences as well. Money and time are the real reasons, and everything in life is after both

I have been on that side of it too when I was younger and I genuinely think the problem is that these games cost money and time and when they find someone with an alternate opinion, it feels like they become genuinely unsure of a financial decision/time commitment they have made.

Will never get tired of your glazing of heat

I am kinda glad you don't like this lol. Kinda needed a generic fun open world game after playing silksong and death stranding 2. Need something familiar and chill. I do feel people don't appreciate how polished tsushima was, too few open world games play as well.

Higgs got the biggest glow up in gaming. Dude went from one of the worst villains in a Kojima game to one of his best and Troy Baker is such a delight to watch

I found the narrative especially to really hit home with its themes of isolation and grief. But more importantly I think this game really wants to deal with how we respond to it in various ways. It felt like an appropriate follow up to the first game in that sense.

Did u play sifu, if you wanna add more doubt to your hatred of the French play that game

Sorry I am not responding to the superman stuff. I agree with the chain regarding what Jacob said. I liked it, it is criminally overstuffed with characters, but in a sense it does capture the feeling of reading a comic book that sorta throws you in the middle of things.

Also basketball has never looked better in any film/TV show imo

By any chance, have you seen The First Slam Dunk (2022)? It's an anime film that the manga creator directed. He sorta reworked the narrative to be an entry point for people unfamiliar with the original story. I think it's one of the best sports films ever made. You might like it.

Tbh, I think the Ghost games and takashi miike samurai films kinda go hand in hand in a sense. To me they are solid, if unremarkable works. Much prefer them having a mode like takashi miike over Kurosawa mode lol. Plus these are effectively low quality mods, just fun ways to mess around.

damn didn't even know until I read this

I find the combat way better than assassins creed games honestly, and with more weapons, I hope they lean way more into the weapon switching mechanics, in addition to style switching.

My man how can you avoid discourse when you look like that?
May 17, 2025 at 11:50 AM
Man I still can't forget the first time I finished the game, it is such a well made, just solid ass game. It has just been too overexposed and overly retread, the best remedy is to just go back and enjoy what you loved I guess

But characters don't have to be physically vulnerable for the story be interesting. As such the show works as an offshoot blueprint of devil may cry and has more in common with an MCU adaption of a comic book than a video game adaptation. I don't think I will be all that interested in future of this

Which for me really hurts this series as an adaptation of the games. The core conceit of the games is the expression and agency the players get to feel when controlling him, in contrast he feels incredibly stripped down in his own show for no reason other than to make him somewhat vulnerable

Yo! Didn't know you were on letterboxed, have you shared your profile. Would love to follow your recommendations if that's cool
