We love the Balsamroot in the gorge, but it is not native to Portland. But I do have “Mule’s Ears” (Wyethia Augustifolia) is native here, and in the same family.

Downtown Portland Oregon yesterday. Bridge, roads and interstate exit had to be closed because of crowd.

Great demonstrations yesterday. 400-600 at our local park, many of whom then went to downtown Portland to demonstrate. My friend and I with our signs. City councilwoman Olivia Clark with my sign, a very clever “Hands Off”.
