Maybe they can’t bc if we upload them then they have to host them on their servers and that would drastically increase costs and/or use more memory than they can get right now.
I really need Bluesky to let us upload our own gifs. Like we desperately need that functionality.

I worked in Utilization Managment for a few years for a small health insurance plan a few years back - totally understand why a CEO of one of the worst health insurance companies in the country was treated like that.
