Interesting—I was NOT hooked after the first one or two; I put it down for several days… But when I came back to it, it clicked for me. (Do agree, though—I almost quit completely after Chapter 1, but it really did improve for me!)

Funny you say that—I read the first chapter and I was sort of “meh.” And then I came back to it a few days later and read it almost straight through. Agree that it takes a minute to connect with, for sure!

I loved the development of the characters and their relationships. It was a fun, funny, easy read, but it was deceptively deep. There was commentary on class, gender, ageism… There are lots of books I like; this is one of those rare books that I wish I had written.

Senator, we left “chaos” behind back in January when we already shut down USAID and started firing healthcare workers at the VA. You have failed the American people, and your justifications are weak and fall on deaf ears. You have given your overt approval for more cuts and chaos, not less.

You have now endorsed these actions and all that follow. You are a disappointment.
