I had never gone through anything like this before. One day I would be tormented by intrusive thoughts and have epic meltdowns. The next day, I would be losing time and sleeping all day. Some days, like today, I’d be lucid but emotionally numb. I had just told people who I didn’t even know that Jaimes was shot and kidnapped, and I hardly felt a thing. It didn’t make sense – as in, it was medically bizarre. I called my psych, I don’t remember when, and he suggested I was either lying about drug use or developing Munchausen’s. I had to end the call quick because I was about to threaten to kill him. I couldn’t even go into a crisis center, because I’d be branded a faker. I was beyond help. Get through today and then get through another day. Wait. Did I agree to hold the camera for a porn shoot? I totally did!
