The algorithm was the draw for me. It knew exactly what to show me on any given day and what new things to introduce me to. And with that you found your people and created a community. Of course it had some negatives too like any platform, but for me the positives far outweighed the negatives.

Hi! Almost 48 Gen X raising Gen Alpha in the Bay Area of California. Had a hip replacement in May and I was documenting and helping so many people on TT who were in the same situation. Many of them were from England. I’m so sad I had to leave them. I had more work to do. 🥺

This was my biggest question too! I went through and tried to private anything I didn’t want circulating without me monitoring it. One one hand I’m glad we didn’t lose it all in case we get it back, but what if we don’t? Then I’ll probably want to get it off there. This whole thing is the worst! 😫

Wait… so our profiles do stay? Like our pages are memorialized 😭 That’s crazy. At least our content still exists.
