Maybe the aggression we’re getting from US will help push the country towards the EU. Starmer has said “not in my lifetime” for good reason, I doubt there’s the appetite from the EU side to let us join the SM any time soon. That may change if US becomes more of a threat than an ally to Europe.

I begrudgingly admit that Farage isn’t stupid. To be in with a chance of getting more seats in parliament he needs to have broad appeal to win over Tory voters, only the fringe supports the likes of Tommy Robinson, to your average Brit he’s far too unsavoury.

I just don’t think the EU will have us back anytime soon, sadly. And I wouldn’t blame them either.
