I woke up at an adorable little sleepy mouse pile this morning. They snuggle together for warmth. The smaller the space, the more mice want to cram into it. It's super cute.

If I had a doomsday shelter, I would update it against hard times now. I would also consider if it needs anything to make a safe space for marginalized people in case it does ever get that bad. Everyone keeps saying that nothing is impossible - well that goes both ways. I know America's history

1) I've been having nightmares since the election. There's arguably a lot of chaos in the collective unconscious right now. I started keeping a dream journal tonight. I suppose I might be sleeping less but I will get back to sleep again faster if I write them down. It will probably balance out.

I will inevitably feel the itch to write when I have some variation of insomnia and need to get up in less than six hours. Why though? Why can't I postpone it until 6 pm tomorrow and still feel just as motivated? 🤔

When mice like people they groom them like they would other mice. So Mr. Snickers decided to groom my hand with little nibbles that did not hurt this morning. I thought he was hungry. Turns out he was just being affectionate.
