Gen13 by Image Comics. Sexy 90s teen superheroes (yeah, I know). The first comic I read and loved! Art by J Scott Campbell. Strangers in Paradise by Terry Moore, published by Abstract Comics. A 90s indie darling and very dear to my heart. A romance masquerading as a crime story. Hellblazer by Jamie Delano (and many, many others over the decades) and originally published by Vertigo. Reading this series rewired my brain chemistry! Justice League International by Keith Giffen and JM DeMattius, published by DC. This intro’d me to so many of my faves - Booster Gold, Blue Beetle, Guy Gardner, Fire and Ice.

It was so hard to narrow this down to just four! But these are definitely the top ones that have stuck with me the longest! (I've been a Terry Moore/SiP fan since the mid-90s lol)
Strangers in Paradise by Terry Moore. A '90s indie comic that eventually got picked up by Image in the 2000s. A sapphic romance comic masquerading as a crime drama that is best summarized as "David loves Katchoo loves Francine." Hellblazer, originally created by Alan Moore for DC's Vertigo line. John Constantine is a long-standing favorite - there's a heady mix of interpersonal relationships (and failings) and the banality of demonic forces. Jamie DeLano and John Ridgway captured lightening in a bottle with their first Hellblazer stories! Justice League International written by Keith Giffen & JM DeMatteis and art by Kevin Maguire, published by DC in the late 1980s. Everything I love about superheroes - relationships, hijinks, Blue Beetle and Booster Gold! Hawkeye by Matt Fraction and David Aja, published by Marvel from 2012-2015. Probably the definitive Hawkeye characterization, to be honest.
