I find it disappointing that we scream at republicans to grow a spine and vote their conscience, yet when democrats do it, they are devils. I totally agree with your assessment. If the people of PA want a more progressive candidate, that is what primaries are for.

I disagree. Congress gets very little done except seek a camera & vote along party lines. Every time a committee I've been part of is too large, it's tough to get things done. Cut their numbers in half, and use the savings to increase the number of workers in their offices that actually do the work.

Look for a "correction" to the numbers shortly. I can hear the excuses for a "faulty" report now.

Stopped at local SS office. 8 wks before I could get an appt with SS. I was told 3 months after the meeting was held in June for Medicare enrollment to be finalized. Online enrollment wasn't an option for my circumstance. They said a combo of Reduction in Force and new folks applying caused backups.

It is likely the Trump administration believes international students take the place of deserving US students, thus their effort to decrease numbers. Another instance of their attack on "DEI".

Dems need to be strategic. See what they offer. Negotiate. Too many innocent people will be hurt if the goal is retaliation because Trump is evil & Republicans are spineless. Make republicans feel the heat. Don't turn people's unhappiness away from Trump, Musk, & republicans and refocus it on dems.
