Republicans are offering a tax cut to the most wealthy that is 850 times larger than what they are offering working people. Oh and by the way, any tax cuts for working people are going to be washed out by higher costs for basic necessities, like health care and food. It’s a fundamental injustice.

Poverty is connected to every social problem we have. Crime, health, education and housing. And yet, in the richest nation this administration is working extremely hard to push more of us into poverty. All the benefit the luckiest(ooops wealthiest) among us…..

Republican members of Congress could stop Trump at any time. In the case of tariffs, they could simply reassert their constitutional power to manage tariffs. If they choose not to and the economy doesn’t recover.
Vote them out!!

Who else would like to see the elite schools with huge endowments standing up to Trump? Harvard faces a 10% funding cut. Colombia capitulated for 20%. Princeton would face 18%. Tufts University is standing up and they recieve 60%. Capitulation now means capitulation forever. Get together and fight!

Apparently Senator Jim Banks thinks laid off federal workers deserved it. Where’s the guy who grew up in a trailer park and was going to fight for the people from where he grew up because he understood what life was like for them?

Tariffs do bring money….into the hands of the government not the average citizen. The average citizen will pay more for goods. Any guesses as to where the tariff money will go? You guessed it:
TAX BREAKS FOR BILLIONAIRES!!!

I am deleting my Facebook account in 2 days. I can no longer tolerate the deletion of posts they don’t like…. This was not an easy decision as I really enjoyed keeping up with people I don’t get to see regularly. Perhaps they will all move over here and I can keep up here.

I’m going to start a new trend for the evenings coming up. Every night I will post ONE thing I would love to see happen in these United States of America.

I would love to see the USA be a place where everyone has a secure and stable roof over their head everyday.❤️

Starbucks earned 9 billion in 2023. Profit of 10% is 909 million. They’ve offered 1.5% pay increases…the average 20/hr employee would get 20 cents. I say STRIKE STRIKE STRIKE. And all 99% of us should support them!!!

Trump wants to raise the debt ceiling before he takes office so that he can extend and expand tax breaks for the wealthy. I repeat TRUMP WANTS TO RAISE THE DEBT CEILING BEFORE HE TAKES OFFICE SO THAT HE CAN EXTEND AND EXPAND TAX BREAKS FOR THE WEALTHY.
More for the 1% less for the 99%
