You lost credibility when you label anyone who doesn't agree with far-left, progressive policies as a "fascist". I don't think even Bernie Sanders or AOC would ever call Kelly or Buttigieg fascists.

I agree with making college free for those students from families making up to $100,000 and significant educational subsidies for those making up to $150,000 as do probably most Americans. Doesn't make us fascists.

Buttigieg is not against universal health care. However, he feels that there should Medicare for all who want it but also private options for those who want it. I agree with that as do many Americans. Doesn't make us fascists.

I agree with not letting felons vote while incarcerated as do most Americans....doesn't make us fascists.

This was about Democrats taking a position of leadership and letting their voices be known. Like him or not, Kelly came out very publicly and told military to not obey illegal orders...he is not afraid to go toe to toe with Trump. Whether or not you like him is another story.
December 5, 2025 at 1:15 AM
Say what you want about Buttigieg, but he does not meet the definition of a fascist. He is not for dictatorial rule or extreme nationalism.

The Democratic party cannot be like the Republican party that walks in lock-step & black-balls every Republican who steps out of line & supports a Democratic nominee every once in a blue moon. If Democrats chastise Republicans for their "all-or-nothing" approach, we cannot turn around & do the same.
December 4, 2025 at 8:12 PM
Who's saying they need to be "in charge" of the ENTIRE party? There needs to be leadership coming from all areas of the political spectrum from Congress to governorships to the DNC. You know you CAN both legislate AND lead at the same time.
December 4, 2025 at 12:29 AM
Seems like you're calling the kettle black with your, "Ah, you're one of those" comment. I'm from Chicago & not a Mamdani "supporter". I'm simply giving my opinion on our Democratic congressional leaders throwing a little more support Mamdani's way no matter where he's on the Democratic spectrum.
December 4, 2025 at 12:22 AM
Independent....like Maine's Senator Angus King. But at least they caucus with the Dems.
December 3, 2025 at 11:58 PM
It's at least a start and these people are vocal and taking a stand. Who would you put on YOUR list?
December 3, 2025 at 11:57 PM
🤣
December 3, 2025 at 11:55 PM
....and nobody with care.
December 3, 2025 at 8:50 PM
There has been very public infighting within the DNC that does not exude unity and confidence in a cohesive message. And the Republican leaders of the House and Senate DO do the messaging for the party. Schumer and Jeffries literally did not even endorse Mumdani until literally election day.
December 3, 2025 at 8:27 PM
It's all about perception....people perceive the DNC and the Democratic leaders in Congress as weak compared to their Republican counterparts and the Dems letting the Republicans get their way (a big reason why we have an ultra conservative, right-wing Supreme Court majority).
December 3, 2025 at 8:20 PM
You know when Trump said Semolian refugees add nothing to this country....that is how I feel about Americans who voted for this clown and continue to believe in this drivel.
December 3, 2025 at 5:55 PM
It is literally the White House version of "Weekend at Bernie's"! But not so much a comedy as a horror film...
December 3, 2025 at 5:52 PM
He literally looks like a corpse in a casket.....
December 3, 2025 at 5:49 PM
My apologies to the monkey for the comparison....😜

There are several Democratic leaders who are....Mark Kelly, Governors Newsom and Pritzker, AOC, Jasmine Crockett, Elizabeth Warren, Pete Buttigieg, Bernie, etc. The DNC and the Senate and House minority leader are a different story....
December 3, 2025 at 5:43 PM
I can no longer watch fatalistic movies or tv shows...the slivers of entertainment I get throughout the day must be positive or funny. I begin the day laughing and commiserating with Stephenie Miller on my drive to work and close out the day laughing and nodding in agreement with Stephen Colbert.
December 3, 2025 at 2:37 PM
I literally wake up every morning wondering how did we ever get here and how did we EVER allow this to happen in the United States of America. We may eventually come out of this....but history will always remember how so many Americans DID allow this happen from voters to all levels of government.
December 3, 2025 at 9:13 AM
Doesn't the "fog of war" conjure up the picture of a fierce battle where the enemy is firing upon you forcing you into making life-or-death, in-the-moment chaotic decisions? These boats were sitting ducks, not fighting back, these were precision strikes, there was no chaos...and we are NOT AT WAR!

That is wife #3. They had an affair and had a kid while Hegseth was married to wife #2. He has three kids with wife #2. Wife #1 divorced him after he admitted to having multiple affairs. Three of those kids are wife #3's kids from another marriage. But yeah....this is why we hate Hegseth.
