each malware family has its own dir, with a subdir of samples then in that, everything is set by date I analyzed it

A year ago today I finished up a lighter version of unicorn using capstone to help with more difficult config extractions. Sadly the few malware families I wrote it for disappeared shortly after I finished it. Oopsies 😂

While I finished Flareon11 quite fast, I spent the rest of the time working on fun projects related to it and implementing the newer techniques I saw. My fav being implementing the VM in the last problem in rust. Election stress got the best of me and its not quite done 😅. but here's a preview:

Got my first v5 today. Been trying to climb one for almost 4 months now but had to take breaks due to injuries and life struggles. Honestly wasn’t sure if I’d ever get one but doing it this morning has made my month and maybe year. Split a pad that stopped the session early but couldn’t be happier ❤️
