I told my daughter before she went to school that we had 49 states. When she went to school she came home saying “Mommy we have 50 states notn49!” and told her we dont have 50 bc Florida doesn’t exist to us.

In Honolulu it was like AAAAALLLLL the retirement homes emptied into the street. It was the best feeling. Surrounded by a diversity…but the median age was most definitely in the 70’s.
