Yea, blenders texture paint tool really has some quircks. I'm not using it too often, but when I do I often need a lot of time to get it to work

Thanks! Not yet sure how to specificly search for keywords like "earth", "atmosphere" or something similar, but this definitely loads much quicker and more reliable compared to nasas image library

What do you mean?
November 6, 2024 at 3:16 PM
Thanks! I’ll have a look at it

Do you have a name?
November 6, 2024 at 3:11 PM
Same. Do you also have problems with the nasa image library? I really hate using this site, since I can’t load images every few minutes.

This looks awesome! Nicely done!
Are the clouds volumetric?
In the past I've done them with a subsurface shader, since it was not as hard on my PC

Awesome wor! Great job! 🔥 I actually modelled the venator class star destroyer you used. I'm currently working on an updated version, with hangar and new textures.
I of course will release it for free again.

Awesome work! Do you use image textures for the background?
November 6, 2024 at 2:51 PM
Awesome! I like this painterly look you gave it!

Just a few months ago I started doing freelance 3D work in Blender.
The hardest part for me is finding the clients. Do you have any tips or recommendations?
November 6, 2024 at 2:47 PM
Try to find something that really motivates you.
For me this for a long time was the goal to create cool Star Wars animations. This kept me going for years.

When I tried learning other software, because it would be nice to now it, I had a much harder time overall and stopped using it.
