My brain feels deep fried. 18+ hours rebuilding a failed network device on completely different hardware, and then expanding it significantly to support new vendor subnets and passthroughs. Burger and bed.

Called out our network team for yet another firewall group that is missing members, and their response was basically 'yep, we see that and we'll fix it next year after we finish migrating stuff in the next months'.

Is it a midlife crisis to decide you're tired of ambiguity and bullshit, especially with relationships that with unspoken assumptions and expectations?
Or is it a sign of maturity/aging to just want clarity and drop the pretense/be blunt and have the awkward/clarifying conversations?

I really love when POC activists are up on their high horse blasting white people for dismissing POC voices, turn around and decide that my voice isn't POC enough.
I am POC. No-one gets to take my heritage or lived experience away from me or decide it doesn't matter.

Got a 'C' band performance review despite tons of praise from my boss and coworkers over the year, and running basically the entire corporate hypervisor hardware footprint (3 different hypervisors and 4 different hardware flavors over some 1500 nodes).
Time to be a 'C' band employee. Lunch time.

I've been on wellbutrin and lexapro for more than a year, and they were working well up until mid October, and now, I'm fighting my stress/depression reaction of exhaustion and sleeping. Even my doctors know that more meds won't fix the stress of the world.
