I ponder the direction of war in venezuela, does it become another iran (2025) or does it become another vietnam.
On one hand venezuela does not have the navy or the airforce to combat the united states in a head on battle. Hence they can steamroll the air defences long enough to bomb targets

The destruction of a historical site that has stood since 1902 means that more than a century of history has just been gutted. Cultural destruction for me personally is a tragedy for all those who come after, but sadly that is the world we live in.

My biggest concern is how glossed over the medical staff aspect of the Gaza Ceasefire. If they simply send food without medical staff to help people eat the right amount, Refeeding Syndrome will kick in and more people will die.

Well turns out I was drop dead wrong. The only one that comes close is that they will 'use these cities as training grounds'(trump) and threats of the 51st state. They will also have a "gender neutral age normalized MALE fitness test"(Hegseth) So probably the next target is women in the US military.
My expectations of what will happen at quantico in decending order:
1. Saddam style purge
2. Reframing of Monroe doctrine to include manifest destiny/leibensraum
3. Both of the above and an invasion of a country in the western hemisphere
4. A redeployment of ALL US Troops deployed abroad to the US

The american tariff on movies is going to hurt the canadian movie sector. Because of our weaker Can $ movie studios are incentivized to make movies in canada since it means they can stretch the budget further than they would in the states.
