Ann Arbor Mayor Pro Tem @travisradina.bsky.social and I agree on a lot – but we especially agree on a simple fact:

Costs are way too high for Michigan families. We need leaders relentlessly focused on building more housing, and bringing prices down.

And we’re going to do that work together.

Michiganders are sharing their health insurance premiums increases with me… not 10% or 20%, but in one example - $200/month to $2900/month.

Republicans have tried to kill the ACA more than 70 times since 2010, and have never once had a plan for anything better.

Welcome to the team, Mayor. Let’s do this.

“It’s time to bring the secrets out of the shadows.”

Please watch – then call your Congress member and tell them to vote to release ALL of the files.

Proud to share the endorsement of Adam Hollier – Army Captain, public servant, native Detroiter, husband, dad.

Nobody cares more or fights harder for Flint and Michigan families than Jim Ananich. I’m proud to count Jim as a friend, a mentor, and as a part of Team McMorrow. Let’s go win. 💪

Hello, Grand Rapids!
November 14, 2025 at 12:27 AM
When I sat down with members and apprentices at UA Local 370, their message was clear: they're done with politics as usual.

They want someone who knows real work, shows up, listens, and fights for THEM – not Washington.

Proud to have their support. Let's get it done.

For so many veterans like Evan, service doesn't end when they take off the uniform.

It continues in the community they build and the fellow veterans they lift up along the way.

Today, we honor all who've served – and all the ways they keep serving. We are so grateful.

This is a bad deal, and the old way of doing things is clearly not working.

We need new leaders in the Senate.
November 10, 2025 at 3:10 AM
Americans can’t afford this deal.

Democrats can fight AND win — just like we did in our budget battle in Michigan.

A promise isn’t a deal. Don’t settle.

It’s Cider Mill Season, Michigan 🍎🍩🍁

Up in the UP, a reporter informed me that at least one local Republican elected official said that claims of rising healthcare costs is “a myth.”

Nothing about the letter you’re receiving in your hands - or the price hikes you see as you navigate open enrollment - is a myth.

UA Local 333 has expanded their apprenticeship program from dozens to hundreds in a matter of years.

As a State Senator, I’ve helped fund their expansion, creating new opportunities for the growing demand. And to watch that funding come to life at their new facility in Lansing is a sight to see.

Farmers and families in the UP are doing everything right, but are being held back when the government creates too many hurdles and not enough pathways.

Thanks to Dan and Amy Jere for the candid conversation at Jere Farms – and a downright delicious meal.

Wynett Guy’s race for Southfield City Clerk is one of so many consequential races across the state today.

That’s why I’m standing with her to make sure to remind people there’s still time to vote for her as a write-in.
November 4, 2025 at 8:43 PM
Team McMorrow joined Southfield Democrats to canvass for Wynett Guy for Southfield City Clerk this weekend.

All gas, no brakes. One day left to vote!

Another packed house in the UP today.

Thanks for coming out, Sault Ste. Marie 🫱

We added a last-minute coffee stop in St. Ignace (population ~2000) this morning.

More than a couple of you showed up…

Michiganders, roll out. Happy Halloween from our Transformers to you 🎃

Trump is withholding funding that’s *already there* for SNAP. They’re using hunger as a political weapon by choice.

While federal Republicans willingly let kids go hungry, we passed $70M in the State Senate to do what we can.
