One thing you can try is to set the nozzle as hot as it will go and try to push some filament through. Or look above the nozzle and see if the print head is flooded with filament. Another thing to look into could be the extruder tension. This is often the culprit with our Ultimaker 2+ machines...

What is happening? No filament coming out or what? I work with printers at the library & might be able to help
