I work for Upcycle Parts Shop on Saint Clair…there’s a bunch of vinyl banners in the basement if you ever want to experiment with mending it!

I learned to quilt kinda backwards…I discovered improv quilting first! I’ve been taking workshops with Sherri since 2020 and I absolutely love them and have learned so much from the improv community. We start another round of blocks in January…join us!

I read a book recently called Meditations for Mortals, and they talk about the impossibility of completing the to-do list and acceptance of that (oof hard). But also to treat your to-do list like a menu you’re choosing from, and that one I really like!

I just read a fascinating book about famous art forger (and eventual convict) Tony Tetro called Con/Artist. I was FLOORED by some of the techniques he used to create his work, like buying 400 year old books to use the blank paper at the front and back for prints.

I’ve been on a Vonnegut kick as of late! Just finished Bluebeard for the upteenth time….was reading short stories in Welcome to the Monkey House but one of them was SO prescient, I had to put that one down 😵💫 he really predicted so much.
