Yep. There are some minor bugs (mostly to do with help pages that try to open in your web browser not working) but apparently it does. Look into something called "daVinci Box" for more info on how to get it running on linux and see if the bugs aren't a dealbreaker for you.

I second using ellipsus if accessing your documents anywhere is super important to you. However for fiction writing/ttrpg I would actually recommend Obsidian. Acts like a personal wiki so I like it for linking concepts together.
