When you look at the darknet marketplace volume, ransomware post-mortems, shadow journalists, and crypto money laundering, they're dominated by bitcoin. Why didn't XMR (Monero) ever capture any significant share of it? Why is BTC's privacy good enough for those needing it most?

Bitcoin's price didn't go to zero after all? It's catching attention again, because guess who's back... They love their crisis narratives, hate their nuance, don't understand energy markets, renewables, contracts, and have no intent to. Ideologues, happy to march in step parroting misinformation:

Satoshi's Namecoin vision wasn't about paying merchants by sending btc, it was about wresting control from ICANN and adding POW to domain registry, opening up many things.
