Hair has been a journey for certain. A struggle most of the way but I learned a ton from the tutorials and kind people who gave me feedback. Finally at a point I am gonna call this good and focus on armor entirely for the next few days.

Anatomy Study/Base Mesh done. Pretty proud of it. For never having even sketched before taking a stab at art and asset creation was scary but after a couple weeks of really throwing myself into it seeing rapid improvement was super heartening. Long road ahead still, time to learn hard surfaces.

Blocked out the rest of the body but got wayyyy too distracted on hands. Pretty proud of them for the first time ever making hands. Not excited to retopo them but that is a whiles away. #art #3DSculpting #gamdev

Well I did it after spending most of my life programming I take my first step into art and assets. Finished a block out for a character bust. Leaving this mostly as a time capsule for my progress into the future. #gamedevelopment #art

That Panel was amazing Dillon! I bumped into Gavin on the floor and got to thank him for his attention to FFIX but I gotta throw some love your way for FFIV Kain is incredible design wise and so is Cecil. But man my personal chase has to be that Amano Golbez in the bonus sheet. Absolutely incredible

Everyone who likes ARPG's should go play Granblue Fantasy Relink, this year's big hidden gem for me. Rarely see anyone talk about it and I feel that it was absolutely criminal it wasn't nominated for best art direction and best soundtrack at the TGA's.

Genuinely this is one of the neatest uses of free will I have seen. I used it to make Mega Man walking into his Mom's room at 2am.

I found it through some unholy fusion of words in a search. It was a custom binding by a redditor on cremposting. Unfortunately they aren't offering the rebinding service atm, but they call it Dalinar's Stormwagon and the back has Lift's quote. 😭

Granblue Fantasy Relink not being nominated for the Art Direction OR Soundtrack categories at The Game Awards is such a bummer. The game deserves so much more recognition honestly such a hidden gem.

I was honestly blown away with how good Granblue Fantasy Relink was and I am surprised not many people talk about it even within the sphere of action RPG's. Story was mild but the rest of the game excelled especially it's multiplayer and absolutely incredible soundtrack.

For anyone looking for a good Steam Next Fest recommendation I absolutely love the Heroes of Hammerwatch II demo. Especially if you are looking for a chill dungeon crawler you can play with a group of friends. If you've never played the first one you should try that too!
