Is there any chance of the archaeological team filming future dives on this site and how can people support this project?

Quite agree, this was a very interesting documentary on the Northumberland. The history blended very well with the maritime archaeology along with incorporating the ship models and the dock yard infrastructure. Heres hoping that Dan Snow lets us have a follow up on Northumberland in the near future.

When I did my degree on the ‘Ships Graveyard at Purton’ I found that placing a barge or vessel on the shoreline impacted the river bank some miles away. Is there any evidence of this along the coast or perhaps scallop trawling nearby?

I do remember the trek along the shore line and then baling the vessel out nearly every day before we began excavating. However, it was a great place to learn about maritime archaeology from you and the other tutors associated with the project. Was it that bad? Of course it was not, it was fun.

Is this due to global warming, just the effects of natural under water causes or, possible fishing gear?

The question of when did the Second World War begin, should we not be so European centric and put forward the idea that the war began during September 1931 when Japan commenced the occupation of Manchuria?
