I chose the autumn colours and the background of either sunrise or sunset for pretty much the same reason. Leaves must change and die for new life to grow from them, night must follow day so that the sun will shine again come dawn. Staying in the familiar may seem like the (1/2)

This is not without pain or sacrifice however, as you will note that the arms are both bleeding. It hurts to pull yourself away from what you know and confront your issues, just as I imagine it would hurt for an apple to grow arms (or attach them somehow?) and drag itself (2/3)

My apple has fallen from the tree and is not, visibly, poisoned. This is not to say I am not affected by my grandfather and my family, but rather represents how I work to keep myself in check. I don't want the rot to harm others, so I work to manage it. (1/3)

Further in line with this, the tree represents my grandmother and the rotting apple at its base represents my grandfather.
The apple lingers on the ground, never fully decaying despite having been there long enough to poison the old tree and (nearly) all its apples. (1/2)

It's not THAT terrible in all honestly, there's def worse, and the chest piece was part of Aurelia's fit for a bit, just my main is hard to dress bc of his palette and min height catboy status so it colours my opinions lmao
