Admittedly I had been a little spoiled that it would happen but it's still crazy. Thankfully I think I'm relatively unspoiled from here (at least for arc 6 😭) so I'm looking forward to it.

Honestly I don't really get the Lilliana hate that much I think her pov chapters dragged a bit (and I hate her original design but that's a seperate thing) but I didn't see anything catastrophically wrong with her as a character

Caught up with Re:Zero anime GODDAMN they are killing it this season. The break sucked to wait through but this is what happens when you let your animators cook.

Enjoying arc 6 so far but also trying not to buy into the insane hype because I always end up disappointed (not by Re:Zero just in general) 😭

Read Re:Zero LN volume 21 a lil bit ago was a really good start. Idk if it's a hot take but the LN really cuts down on a lot of the meandering that tends to be present in the WN which is nice. Gotta get my hands on the next volume

Episode 7 is an incredible standalone episode but I truly believe that both narratively and thematically Arcane season 2 kinda peaked with episode 4 (or at least after that it spiralled out of control, there were warning signs before like maybe)

Watched Arcane s2 and was severely disappointed tbh. Still a good show but very much fails to meet the expectations set by the first season. In the plus side I noticed Dandadan is on Netflix so I'm gonna give that another go

Finished Arc 5 WN and it was amazing, really looking forward to the 2nd Cour. That being said, I kind of wish I just spent the money on the LN volume because I'm going to be reading it from here and I feel like I'm gonna be SO confused about the differences

I've been playing Black Ops 6 multiplayer (lol) and an interesting thing is they now give basically full credit for any kill assist, meaning the collective K/D is now well above 1. Basically: participation trophies! Everyone gets to feel good at the game!

Theresia Van Astrea is a beautiful chapter that sadly has zero chance of being done justice in the anime it's just too long 😭

Regulus Corneas... I may need to reread some chapters to fully understand him, but I think he's an amazing villain and another prime example of Re:Zero having narrative depth wayyyyyyy beyond what it's given credit for.
Really hope the anime somehow does him justice.
