In June, the DOJ sued Texas over its Dream Act, which allows immigrant students to qualify for the same regular tuition rate as most other students at Texas public colleges. MALDEF President & General Counsel Thomas A. Saenz explains why we are appealing a court decision to defend the Texas law.
