Yep, it is fun to consider HOW it's too shallow, what parts of human experience it fails to grasp. Where it falls short.

Also, talking about communication strategies always sounds kind of manipulative.
A good thing to remember, good people and assholes both use language strategies.
A good person communicates to understand, be understood, and reach a mutual happiness. An asshole talks to be understood and obeyed.

The linguistic field and interpersonal field, I imagine, have a lot of overlap. Interpersonal being largely focused around understanding of others and relationships and linguistic being the communication to facilitate and act upon that understanding.

Two of the questions for the linguistic field were about learning new languages or looking words up in the dictionary.
But, sticking to one or two languages does not inherently imply a lack of language intelligence.
And language has more to it than one can learn in the dictionary.

They don't say that because that's a given for everyone. Everyone is amazing, not seeing that is rooted in the observer, not the observed. The magic is there, ya just gotta see it.

I'd also have fun playing around with ink levels. So if someone wanted a really ink-heavy noir graphic novel look or a much more delicate style, those could be options.
My usual modular commissions will still be open, but those that really love my lines might appreciate this option more.
