Exactly. It then goes on to outline the process of recovery to “master” these resentments. Totally at odds with the quote you gave. The stories in the back are NOT the AA program, they are just some early members opinion.

There is a fellowship for that: OA or Overeaters Anonymous. For people struggling with food obsession. Not as big as AA/NA, but it’s out there.
