I am honored to receive the endorsement of Mayor-elect @zohrankmamdani.bsky.social—a friend, fellow democratic socialist & fierce advocate for Queens—to succeed him in the State Assembly.

Together, we’ll defend working families, fight the rising tide of fascism, and deliver an affordable NYC.

It was such a joy to celebrate Hanukkah with Mandy, Kathryn and their son, Gideon. As Jewish New Yorkers across our city prepare to light candles and mark the seventh night today, I wish you and your families a Hanukkah full of light and love.

This past Sunday, from 8am to 8pm, New Yorkers from every corner of our city traveled to the Museum of the Moving Image in Astoria to share their dreams, their worries, the change they want to see across New York. It was an honor listening to each of them.

A million Muslims live in New York City. We belong here, as does every other New Yorker.

This is vile Islamophobia from the Councilwoman and it has no place in our city.

Every dot on this map is a New Yorker who chipped in for the Transition to make sure we can hit the ground running on Day 1.

$3 million raised from all five boroughs. $1 million to go.
Thank you for powering this transition. Let's cross that finish line together.

Starbucks CEO Brian Niccol made $95 million last year. His workers are striking for the bare minimum. Glad to be on the right side of the picket line with them.

My Transition Co-chair Lina Khan and First Deputy Mayor Dean Fuleihan joined Starbucks workers on the picket line today because making NYC affordable means an end to unfair labor practices and a living wage for our workers. We are their partners in the fight to live in this city with dignity.

At our volunteer appreciation party, I saw the faces of a movement that changed the world. Thank you from the bottom of my heart to everyone who knocked on a door, called a friend, put up a sign, or convinced their family this election was worth their time.

When we launched this campaign, we said we wanted to knock on one million doors across the five boroughs by the June primary.

Some people laughed. You got to work. We hit 1.6 million.

In the general, we said let's do it again. Another million.

We just passed three.

That's the NYC we know and love. It has found expression in this movement. And it is rising up at the ballot box today.

UNTIL IT’S DONE, Ep. 5: Vito Marcantonio

Tomorrow is Election Day. And this is the final Until It's Done of our campaign.
