As a highly empathetic person, I too struggle with worrying too much what other people are thinking. I just try to remind myself that what they’re feeling about me, doesn’t have to be what I feel about me, and I trust myself more. Easier said than done. Lots of cognitive work. Best of luck to you!

The sad part is that theoretically, they are just as capable (of course diverse perspectives lend to fresh ideas, which is another benefit aside from fairness), but entitlement is their greatest weakness.

Pretty sure he resigned because they demoted him. He didn’t just up and quit as a form of resistance. This statement he made was him going out kicking.
