This sunset in Kyiv is so menacing.

Some things don't change...

I created this illustration one year ago. It shows speaker Mike Johnson comfortably sitting in his chair and reading the Bible, while Russia is razing to the ground the town of Avdiivka in Ukraine.

Hello there!

I am not very active on Bluesky (but might become in the future). So, this is a quick introduction for all the people who have followed me recently 🙂

My new illustration (and a comic of some kind) marks a 7-day countdown to Trump's inauguration.

People around the world are bracing themselves for a dramatic change. Especially here in Ukraine, we hardly know what to expect.

Personal news:

* I'm not dead;
* I finished a month-long illustration project;
* I was listening to Portishead non-stop while working on the project;
* My mind concocted the idea of this poster which finally came to life today!

*Speaker Mike Johnson sits comfortably at home*

... all the while he could stop Russia from razing another Ukrainian city to the ground.

Avdiivka. Here used to be a lovely coffee place where my friend invited me once. Her home (or what's left of it) is just a 15 minutes walk from this place.

*Jerry Heil & Alyona Alyona*

This Ukrainian duo is likely to win #Eurovision2024 with their spiritual anthem 'Teresa & Maria', according to bookmakers. Well, I wouldn't be surprised!

It was a joy drawing these two 🙂

This is me at Izolyatsia art centre in Donetsk, 10 years ago. In two months Russia would invade my country and turn this place into a torture chamber. Rooms where people like me could enjoy art would turn into prison cells.

Unforgivable.

This is a sticker pack I made for a dog shelter in Kyiv (and a proof that I'm good at drawing cute doggos):

Portraits. I just love doing them. Be it a portrait for your loved one's birthday or a portrait of a politician for a news story.

Book covers is an industry I would love to break into. Check out these mockups with my illustrations:

Editorial illustration is an area I have most experience in. I'm good at conceptualizing ideas and delivering work quickly (sometimes within 24 hours). Yes, you can count on me for fast turnarounds.

These are examples of the articles I illustrated in 2023:
