but they need revenue numbers to get the desired IPO goals.
Keep in mind again that most apps have the ability to monetize on top of Reddit's data while they don't necessarily share this profit with Reddit.
It's pure $ grabing..

Reddit will not back down on sweet $ since google, apple, microsoft & co. use their data to train their algos for free (just like they did with Twitter until recently) and monetize that same data.
