this is a way to make sure people do not see the real news unless news outlets cover the social media of the administration, and they shouldn’t have to to get the news we need. fuck donald trump and fuck this administration

why are they hiding behind social media and not actually answering during press briefings, Q&A’s, etc??? is it because they have no clue what they are talking about so they need a group of people to determine what to say??

WHY do i have to see social media updates from my fucking president to learn about what we are doing and why (or at least his version of why)??? why are truth social posts or X posts the avenue most quoted by our president or press secretary???

when all was said and done, I was furious about the course of action Mizzou took that day, that could have risked hundreds if not thousands of students. this administration is doing the same.

some of my friends on campus didn’t have Twitter, so i had to relay information about clothing, whereabouts, etc because Mizzou was not alerting students via email and text as frequently and as honestly as they were on Twitter.

however, i had just stepped through my dorm doors and was on the elevator. for the next few hours i continued to learn updates on the whereabouts of the potential shooter through Twitter.

shortly after, we were told some dorms may be locked, and to find safety where we could. i was already on my way to my dorm and it was the furthest on campus so i decided to continue my walk there. i got another alert on Twitter that my specific building was being targeted
