The best thing I have started adopting since using @effect-ts.bsky.social a few months ago is using branded types.

I'm not sure why it isn't a standard in all TS code bases.
It's crazy how many simple mistakes it catches for me.

As the base requirement requested by my girlfriend to use my budget tracking app, it now has a CAT MODE
