it does suck cause i feel like because of nintendo's milking of these ideas it's gonna lead to the actually good games getting put together in the same pile as the stuff that doesn't do this well because even if they do them well they are symptomatic of the problem

tho in saying this i do get the point tho it's nintendo applying things that work with one of their games to other games for no real reason beyond it worked before and sometimes it's fine or even good but other times it's a mess

okay but it's not generally bad or even generally similar to each other i feel like prime 4 to me just seems like a game that never needed a sidekick but with odyssey and wonder it's like they fit more into the worldview of mario naturally cause mario's always had quirky sidekicks

okay but to be more for real i just don't really get what prime 4 is saying about the ips on the switch is it like too many quirky sidekicks or what i just don't get what the issue with this game is that connects to other ips but maybe that's just cause i only play mario
