43 years ago today the keel of USS Vincennes was laid in Pascagoula, MS.
The real ship took 1.5 years to build... this model took 8!
At least the Navy didn’t have to rebuild what Dragon messed up 😄

In the 1970s, Pavel Sukhoi asked Arkhip M. Lyulka to design the turbofan engine for what would become the Su-27.
Though Lyulka never lived to see the AL-31F enter production, he'd surely be proud of this 1:48 scale model.

On this day in 2022 the Nord Stream pipeline was blown up.
Years earlier, the Solitaire laid hundreds of km of it — now scratch-built in 1:400 by Gabriéle Glücks, award-winning at NAVIGA-C in Budapest.

1991 elején hivatalosan is megalakult a Csehszlovák Légierő Bemutató Köteléke. A repüléseket L-39 Albatros, L-59, MiG–21, MiG–23, MiG–29, Szu–22, Szu–25 gépekkel, továbbá Mi–24 helikopterrel hajtották végre.

A törzs alsó felén található két puklit lecsiszoltam. A magyar vonatkozású fotók alapján rájöttem, hogy a gyári nagyjavításra a Szovjetunióba kivitt és "eltűnt" 11-es MF helyett kapott és jelenleg is meglévő 11-esen ott vannak a puklik.

Összességében nem egy rossz makett, de van benne néhány, nehéz perceket okozó rész. De akinek ez a kedvence (mint nekem), az ne habozzon, egy nagyon dögös gépet tudhat a polcán.

A 2024. évi Mosonshow-n kaptam a szlovák Armour Modelstől ezt az OT-64 SKOT páncélozott szállítójármű készletet. A gyártó kínálatában többféle verzió is megtalálható mind 1:72, mind 1:35 méretarányban.

Mivel én magyar felségjelzéssel ellátott gépeket és járműveket szoktam építeni, roppant mód megörültem a Trumpeter 1/48-as MiG-15-ösének. A makett ár-érték aránya nagyon csalogató volt, így azonnal megvettem.
