I am back from a wonderful, all-too-short trip to Peru. What a beautiful country and fascinating history! And they are nice and tolerant of diversity. How wonderful to not hear US news for awhile!

Make things better. One cannot achieve greatness without sacrifice - but small sacrifices done by many lead to remarkable progress. Think of how some small sacrifice like moving your thermostat one degree or reusing a bag instead of throwing it away multiplied by millions really matters.

Fewer people are being immunized. We have long waits in Emergency Departments and too few beds in our hospitals to accommodate all the sick patients. We have shortages of care providers. So, our government is slashing funding and sowing mistrust. The pain we are all going to feel is Trump's fault.
