Lapis Lazuli was just added to the shop!!! This lapis has excellent deep royal blue color and is one step below my premium lapis, consisting of approximately 15-20% calcite. This lapis is more affordable and still has the INTENSE violet-blue color when wet. 💙💜💙

Does anyone have any book or website recommendations on optimizing your website for google, google shopping, merchant? I need to be proficient in all things google, but not sure where to begin. The internet so inundated with “experts”, I can’t sift through it. 🤓

After a really long social media break, I am back! I had a pretty severe ankle injury early this year (fully dislocated) that kept me down and out. 🥺

Happy Equinox everyone! Getting excited for planting our heritage orchard soon. We purchased over 15 heritage trees and berries as our Christmas gifts for our off-grid build.

The next fancier mineral is a GEMMY idocrase (vesuvianite). This one has great color once sealed and is limited stock. It reminds me of jolly rancher green! 🤤🤤🤤

Just finished crushing and listing some of the fancier minerals that I got from the 2023 Tucson Gem and Mineral show. Blue Chalcedony (Grade A+) is up first! This material is super clean and has a light periwinkle blue. 💙

Here’s the completed inlay on our stairs! The crushed chrysocolla has been allowed to cure, then it was sanded, and then coated with polyurethane. It’s a beautiful way to preserve cracked wood.

Picking through a batch of rough Mali garnets. These beautiful garnets are rare (grossular-andradite) and have great color! When the weather is warmer, they will be crushed into tiny pieces for your jewelry projects!!! 💎

Being creative this weekend and inlaying our tiny home stairs with my chrysocolla! This punky piece of wood was salvaged and milled by my partner. I love wood with holes and cracks - inlay makes them even better!!! Can’t wait to see it after it is cured, sanded, and polished!
