I'm jealous because I can't experience it for the first time again. Such a good game. Enjoy!

On the whole these have created some different ways to work, but have not supplanted any of the old ways. It's also notable that these are largely specialised ML algorithms built for a specific task, not a generalised LLM. Generalised AI has NOT helped with media production, as far as I can see.

ML stem separation (like Spleeter) splits a mixed song into component instruments. This has lead to tools like iZotope Music Rebalance which makes remixing a finalised song possible in ways we could never do before.

Spectral noise reduction is not an AI tool. But machine learning has made it easier to grab a noise print and selectively apply spectral noise reduction which leads to fewer noticeable artifacts.

There are some ML tools for audio that have been regularly useful and speed up work.

Script-based editing is huge. ML turns the dialogue into a script, and then editing the text cuts the video. Huge time saver for "talking-head" videos. I suppose that replaces manual editing.

Awesome! After seeing it at Pizza & Pixels, I've been eagerly looking forward to properly playing Microvania. Congratulations!

"They don't just do these things for no reason."

The reason they do raids is to meet outrageous quotas. There is no suspicion of malfeasance, just a possibility of reaching their arrest numbers for the month. Fucking absurd to think there is any deeper thought than that from these goons.

I set the bird over by a bush. It looked around, pivoted, and fanned its wings a little. And then, with dawning awareness, it shouted at me. It jumped up in the bush and I let it chill. What a neat little guy hope he's okay.

Some software feedback would be a good idea. Maybe not an alert though. Solo bud is a realistic use case, it's great for calls.

Kirk didn't have open debates. He put on little theatrical productions where he "dunked on" kids.

Oof, this sucks. Thank you for sharing.

Certainly. Which is why he was primed to go MAGA. But I'm not sure he brought people with him so much as there just happened to be a contingent of already questionable people that entered VR because of the hype, and were predisposed to right-wing ideology.

Absolutely fair. You have my utmost support.

VR has intrinsic merit beyond its waning tech hype. I do hope it finds its footing in open platforms and indie software that democratises the field. May all the exploitative business ideas become unviable.
