I think fandoms have gotten stuck to the whole idea of everything needing to be exactly like in the canon or its wrong. and if you want to make something different you need to make an elaborate AU just for that. thats so dumb. why cant we just... do things? without having to worry about it so much?

and then you stop and think... fanfics dont need to be canon compliant. theyre FANfics, not real. no one is going to care if a character does something they should not do bc it isnt canon, its FAN work.

it would be my first time writing teenage romance and anything school-related lol thinking it could be something short and sweet, with few chapters just describing them spending time together and falling in love and maybe end with them running away from home? aaaaaa send me energy guys!! 🙏🙏🙏
