MAN U 0-1 ARS. Good points but horrific performance. It was never easy at OT and this MU team looked way better. First half was nowhere near the standard but thanks to Calafiori with the same old set-piece routine, one nil to the Arsenal. MU went through the backline too easily but we escaped.

Starting something new with BlueSky ahead of the 2025/2026 Premier League Season. It’s simply my thoughts on every single Arsenal games. Enjoy!

Full focus on Wednesday now, but to be honest, I’m not looking forward to that game with how we’ve been performing lately, both home and away.

Nwaneri should’ve come on earlier for Ø. Ethan often backs himself when he’s outside the box and it’s refreshing and exciting to see. We resorted to crossing when we were running out of options in the middle, but let’s be honest, Leo, Nelli, or Saka aren’t going to win the majority of the duals…

Arsenal looked like they ran out of steam, yet the first substitution didn’t come until the 70th minute, and the second not until 83rd with a triple change. Really frustrating to watch. #arsenal

Right after that, another goal conceded from a set-piece - this time, controversially. Evanilson seemed to score with his elbow? VAR didn’t rule it out. Was Ø too weak in the challenge? Should Raya have saved it? Either way, it was really poor from Arsenal. #arsenal

Bournemouth’s first shot on target ended up in the back of the net. Rory Delap’s hand-cannon nightmare haunts the Arsenal defence once again. Huijsen with a great header to finish. Game level. For all of Arsenal’s strength on set pieces, it still feels like a weakness at times. #arsenal

Arsenal had a couple of chances to extend the lead to 2-0 - Saka’s right footed attempt and a scuffed header. After that, they never really showed the urgency to kill the game off. They gave the ball away far too easily and struggled to maintain possession at times.

Despite looking tired, Martinelli’s still managed to create a few chances. Rice missed a couple early on, but I had a feeling he’d get on the scoresheet today. Beautiful pass from Ødegaard, great touch by Rice to go around Kepa and make sure Zebarnyi couldn’t get close for a goal line clearance.

Arsenal put in a lacklustre performance - sloppy and lacking urgency at times. Same old story in the first 15 mins, never got control of possession. The team looked pretty tired, especially Martinelli, he looked like he needed a break. #arsenal

First post: Staying away from X - it’s a toxic platform overall. Looking for genuine and honest discussion about all things Arsenal!
